Pray Today

Kickoff Meeting Tuesday May 12 at 6:30 PM! Click the link at the bottom of the page and we'll see you there!

In Acts 2:42, we see what the first Christians did together. It says that, "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." If we continue to follow the example of the first Christians, we see that the result of their devotion was that "the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

At Suburban, we desperately want to see people come to know Jesus. It isn't about growing Suburban, it's about growing God's kingdom. We want the Lord to add to our number daily those who are being saved. So we are committed to doing the same things the first Christians did in Acts 2.

We started with a reading plan. We are reading Scripture together every day, devoting ourselves to the apostles' teaching.

On Tuesday, May 12, we will kick off the Pray Today initiative. Every day we will be praying for a specific group of people or a particular topic together, devoting ourselves to prayer. Since we aren't quite ready to meet together physically, to mark the beginning of this initiative, we will be having a virtual meeting on Zoom. You can get into the meeting by following the link at the bottom of the page

If you would rather call in instead of using your computer, you can do that as well. Send an email to and I will send you the instructions. You can also email me if you need help sharing the link with others.

I hope to see you there!
